Anglin voted CL Pitcher of the Week
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Freshman RJ Anglin had an impressive week to be tabbed the Crossroads League Baseball Pitcher of the Week as announced by the national office earlier today.
Anglin put the clamps on #RV Indiana Wesleyan this past weekend. The rookie hurler tossed a complete-game shutout, scattering just three hits and three walks while fanning seven batters.
For the week, Anglin posted a 1.38 earned-run average and 0.85 WHIP in two outings. He spent 13 innings on the bump during which he struck out 15 batters and allowed just two runs.
HU (26-18, 20-12) wraps up the regular season this weekend by hosting a four-game series with Marian.
