Reinartz Named CL Baseball Player of the Week
HUNTINGTON, Ind. – Freshman outfielder Tanner Reinartz has been named the Crossroads League Baseball Player of the Week following a sensational opening series that helped Huntington secure a 2-1 series victory at Truett McConnell.
The rookie made an immediate impact in his first collegiate series, cranking three home runs in a single game on his way to finishing the series with three hits, three runs and five RBI. Reinartz also demonstrated exceptional plate discipline, walking twice and finishing the series without striking out.
Reinartz's historic performance was a key factor in Huntington taking two of three games from Truett McConnell to open the 2026 campaign on a high note. His three-homer game not only earned him league recognition but also set the tone for the Foresters' season.
HU and Reinartz return to action this weekend for a four-game series in Alabama against Olivet Nazarene.
