Back-to-Back Honors: Johnson Claims League Offensive Award Again

HUNTINGTON, Ind. – For the second straight week, Huntington University senior forward Kaden Johnson has been named the Crossroads League Men's Basketball Offensive Player of the Week, as announced earlier today by the league office.

Johnson continued his dominant stretch with another standout performance on Saturday, powering the #RV Foresters to an 88-80 road win over Cornerstone. The 6-11 senior showcased his efficiency once again, pouring in 26 points on 10-of-13 shooting while adding 11 rebounds, three assists and a block to secure his fifth double-double in six games this season.

The victory marked HU's fifth straight, improving the Foresters to 6-1 on the year. Johnson and the Foresters now turn their attention to league action, opening Crossroads League play on Wednesday with a 7:00 p.m. road matchup at Spring Arbor.

The Huntington University Foresters compete in 18 intercollegiate sports for men and women. In the past decade, Huntington has produced 181 NAIA All-America honors and 631 All-America Scholar Athlete honors. Huntington University is a comprehensive Christian college of the liberal arts offering graduate and undergraduate programs in more than 70 academic concentrations.
