#21 Huntington claims big win at #RV Marian
INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – It was a battle at the MU Tennis Courts Wednesday afternoon with the #21 HU men's tennis team eventually prevailing 4-3 over #RV Marian.
The stakes were high as both teams brought perfect records into the match. With this win, Huntington boasts a 5-0 overall record which includes a 4-0 league record while the Knights drop to 3-1 overall, 3-1 in the league. Midway through the season, only HU and Grace remain perfect in CL play.
The Foresters earned the point in doubles action and then were quick to collect the team win by claiming three of the first four wins in singles action. Agustin Agosto notched the first point in singles at the #4 spot followed by a Valentin Mussi win at #5 and then Mateo Ameller turned in a win at #3 to secure the overall victory.
Huntington returns to Klopfenstein Courts on Saturday to host Bethel at 4:00 p.m.
