No. 17 Foresters Take Care of Business at Lawrence Tech
SOUTHFIELD, Mich. - The No. 17 Huntington men's tennis team delivered a dominant performance Friday afternoon, sweeping Lawrence Tech 7–0 at the Franklin Athletic Club in Southfield, Michigan.
With the win, the Foresters improve to 5–1 on the season and have now recorded four sweeps in their five victories this year—an early indication of their depth and consistency across the lineup.
Huntington controlled the match from start to finish, posting a clean 6–0 showing in singles play and securing the doubles point with a 2–1 edge. The Foresters dictated tempo throughout, winning key baseline exchanges and capitalizing at the net to close out sets efficiently.
The Foresters return to action on February 21 when they travel to South Bend to face Holy Cross. First serve is scheduled for 11:00 a.m.
