Kropp, VanderMeer Lead Foresters to Eighth at Ray Bullock Invitational 

Upland, Ind. – The Huntington University men's cross country team placed eighth out of 12 teams at the Ray Bullock Invitational, hosted by Taylor University on Friday in Upland, Ind. The Foresters turned in a balanced effort highlighted by a top-20 finish from sophomore Jaden Kropp. 

Kropp paced HU with a time of 26:11.6, good for 19th place overall. Graduate student Carter VanderMeer followed close behind in 26:16.1 to take 21st, giving the Foresters a steady one-two punch near the front of the field. Sophomore Kaden Vogel rounded out the top three with a 26:48.3, good for 27th overall. 

Senior Tyler Loucks (29:41.2) and freshman Jayden Cornett (32:54.3) completed Huntington's scoring five, while junior Gabriel King (35:02.7) provided additional depth as the team's sixth runner. 

LOOKING FORWARD 
The Foresters will compete in the NAIA Great Lakes Challenge in Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 25th
