Bio
Maddie Rushton serves as the V2 head coach for the Huntington University women's soccer program. In her role, she is responsible for all aspects of the V2 program, including in-game analysis and decision-making, planning and executing training sessions and fostering player development.
Rushton brings a year and a half of coaching experience to Huntington, having previously coached the U12 age group with Wolves Academy, where she helped develop young players in one of England's respected youth soccer environments.
Originally from Wolverhampton, England, United Kingdom, Rushton enjoyed a successful playing career that included competing at the Tier 4 semi-professional level with Worcester City FC. She began her collegiate career at Iowa Central Community College, where she started all but two matches during her two seasons with the Tritons while totaling five goals and three assists.
Rushton continued her playing career at Life University in Georgia, helping lead the Running Eagles to a 15-5-1 record and an Elite Eight appearance at the 2023 NAIA National Championship.
She earned her Associate of Arts degree from Iowa Central Community College and is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at HU.
